Arts Council England is seeking a Community Engagement Practitioner to drive participation, education and community engagement across our venues and borough. You will plan, deliver and evaluate a diverse programme, working with artists, schools and partners to ensure inclusive, accessible opportunities for all audiences.

The role involves youth theatre, artist-led workshops and partnerships with schools, with a strong emphasis on impact, inclusivity and sustainable practice.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent in arts participation, education or community engagement or substantial professional experience.
• Safeguarding training or equivalent must be held.
• Strong understanding of arts participation and community engagement practice.
• Knowledge of Arts Council England principles and funded programme delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong commitment to inclusivity, access and safeguarding.
• Experience delivering arts participation or education programmes.
• Experience managing budgets and freelancers.
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice.
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation framework.
• DBS check will be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, delivery and evaluation of a diverse activity programme.
• Collaborate with artists, schools and community groups to ensure welcoming programmes.
• Support youth theatre, artist-led workshops and community learning opportunities.
• Help deliver activity funded by Arts Council England and measure impact.
