We are looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals to join our team in and around Northampton.
- Due to the nature of the job, you will need access to a vehicle, a driving licence, and be able to work every other weekend along with a minimum of 2 evenings a week. Please note that we are not accepting new applications for sponsorship or visas.
We are also seeking a Community Engagement Officer to work part-time, 20 hours a week on a pro rata basis, with potential to develop into a full-time business development role.
The Role
- Develop relationships within the local community, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities by growing and leveraging your network.
- Work towards targets for Referral Provider touchpoints.
- Deliver promotional activities both face-to-face and virtually to increase awareness of Home Instead’s services and employment opportunities.
- Plan and execute community marketing events, including attending fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events.
- Attend events on weekends as needed.
- Consistently communicate our mission, vision, and values, and deliver our value proposition.
- Manage social media activity and campaigns.
- Raise awareness of Home Instead's brand and marketing initiatives within the local community.
- Track and record enquiries to optimize messaging and strategy.
- Maintain accurate data to assess performance against goals.
- Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing needs.
- Ensure compliance with our Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy.
- Perform other duties necessary for business operations.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships both face-to-face and virtually to achieve objectives.
- Confident in networking via various communication methods.
- Capable of delivering talks on ageing-related topics such as Dementia, Fraud Prevention, Nutrition & Hydration.
- Experience with marketing principles and managing digital media platforms.
- Good knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and virtual communication tools.
- Ability to use data and analytics for decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, resilient, and flexible to meet business needs.
- Experience with CRM systems for managing community touchpoints.
