Pilgrims' Friend Society's Bridgemead Home in Bath is seeking an Activities and Community Engagement Facilitator to connect with residents, families, churches and local groups. This role suits a proactive, compassionate Christian who enjoys organizing events and guiding volunteers.

You will lead a team of volunteers, create monthly activities, coordinate family events, and build partnerships with local ministers.

Qualifications

• Proactive and compassionate Christian who engages with local churches and community groups.
• Ability to lead and coordinate community activities for residents.
• Willingness to work with residents who have dementia and respite care.

Responsibilities

• Engage with local churches and present newsletters to the community.
• Visit and present to the community and local churches.
• Build relationships with local ministers, pastors, vicars, etc.
• Organise and facilitate special events and outings.
• Lead a team of volunteers.
• Create monthly activities for residents.
• Coordinate and facilitate activities for families.
• Engage with the wider community through coffee mornings, fayres, open days, etc.
• Perform additional duties when required.
