Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is recruiting a Community Liaison Officer to strengthen ties with residents, parish councils and community groups, ensuring concerns are reflected in highway services. You will engage with councillors and stakeholders, represent the Council at meetings, and ensure issues are logged and resolved promptly.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience in a related field.
• Proactive approach with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Strong customer-focused mindset and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships between the Council, communities and stakeholders.
• Represent the Council at meetings and events and log/track issues.
• Support the minor works programme and monitor progress and budgets.
• Contribute to service improvements and efficient highway service delivery.
