Job summary

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is seeking a Resident Engagement and Communications Specialist to support the Transformation & Resources directorate. The role focuses on informing, listening to and involving residents in regeneration and new homes across Wythenshawe.

You will translate complex information into clear messages, plan inclusive engagement activities and work with partners to shape neighbourhood futures. This is a people-facing, strategic yet hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification in communications, marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with ability to translate complex information into clear messages.
• Experience engaging residents and stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication plans and resident-focused content.
• Design inclusive engagement activities like consultations, workshops and events.
• Manage relationships with Independent Tenant Advisor and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with local authorities, community groups and elected members.
• Ensure engagement is inclusive and accessible for all residents.
• Monitor and report on engagement activity with clear impact evidence.
