Job summary

Thirteen Group is seeking Fixed Term Employability Caseworkers to join our Employability team in the Tees Valley area. This 12-month contract supports people not in employment, education or training to build resilience and secure sustainable work.

You will manage caseloads, help with CVs and applications, and coach clients to improve interview skills and job search outcomes. Occasional travel across the Tees Valley is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people into employment, education or training.
• Able to manage a caseload effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to coach and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Support people into employment and assist with CVs, applications, job searches and interview skills.
• Deliver a high-quality service focused on positive outcomes and celebrating success.
• Link with the Employability team to identify volunteering and training opportunities.
• Generate referrals into the service.
• Address barriers using flexible approaches including 1:1 and group work.
• Travel within the Tees Valley area as needed.
