Job summary

Scope’s Dartford shop on 26 High Street is recruiting a Shop Manager to lead a dynamic team of paid colleagues and volunteers. You will drive sales, manage stock and online listings, and work closely with the Assistant Shop Manager to ensure strong store performance and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Retail Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in a retail or charity shop.
• Commercially aware and able to spot opportunities for store growth.
• Able to lead and support people in a busy shop environment.
• Customer-focused with a can-do attitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maximise shop sales performance and seek ways to improve store performance.
• Oversee stock collection, preparation, and online listing to support online sales.
• Recruit, manage, and develop paid staff and volunteers per Scope policies.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Shop Manager to run the shop effectively.
