Job summary

The Co-operative Group is hiring a Customer Team Member in Crawley. The role is part-time, 12 hours per week with regular overtime, permanent contract, Pay £13.04 per hour. Full, paid training provided and you’ll help deliver friendly, helpful service in your local Co-op store.

You’ll work with a friendly team on the shop floor, tills, and possibly the post office or bakery, keeping shelves stocked and prices accurate while promoting Co-op Membership and supporting the local community.

Qualifications

• Friendly, helpful customer service experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers on the shop floor and tills.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Promote Co‑op Membership and support local community initiatives.
• Assist with post office, bakery, or online order picking as required.
