Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Staff Nurse (District Nursing) in Berwick-upon-Tweed. This full-time role involves working with the Tweedmouth District Nursing Team, delivering patient-centred care in homes, clinics, and care settings.

Qualifications

• State Registration on Part 1 of the 3 part NMC register.
• Diploma/degree level qualifications or equivalent by experience if experienced.
• Evidence of qualification to supervise, teach and assess students (within 18 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in their homes and communities.
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and nursing interventions.
• Carry out clinical procedures with a high level of skill and dexterity.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly to patients and carers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.
