Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking motivated Band 5 Community Nurses to join the District Nursing Service on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave until 08 May 2027. The post supports pathways to Band 6 District Nurse, Chronic Condition Case Manager, and Nurse Practitioner roles, with training opportunities and flexible development.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or within 2 months of gaining PIN.
• Knowledge of Community Care.
• Practice supervisor/assessor.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically effective care within the District Nurse Team.
• Travel between patients' homes in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Work within the West Division District Nursing Service in partnership with others to maintain patients at home.
• Welsh language ability is desirable and Welsh/English speakers are welcome to apply.
