Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Band 6 Community Dietitian to join the Community Nutrition and Dietetic Service in the North East Quadrant. The post holder will deliver evidence-based dietetic assessments and interventions for adults, children and carers across home visits, clinics and community settings.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Dietetics or equivalent (recognised qualification).
• Current HCPC registration.
• PVG Scheme / Disclosure Scotland membership.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional status and develop/monitor individualized care plans for adults and paediatric patients.
• Provide expert dietetic advice across home visits, clinics and community settings.
• Deliver health improvement programmes and participate in audits and research.
• Supervise and mentor students and support staff; contribute to staff education.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure care meets professional standards.
