Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels, while also walking parts of your route. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring reliable, friendly service come rain or shine.

Shifts vary and may become permanent. A full UK manual driving licence with up to six points is required, along with the physical ability to cover long walking

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, combining driving and walking.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, providing excellent service.
• Follow Royal Mail standards, including handling items like election materials and restricted goods.
