Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible Post Persons with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local community. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your route and also walk sections of the route to ensure timely delivery.

The role rewards you with active days, community impact, and a chance to be part of a trusted nationwide service. Typical shifts vary, with pay rates shown for different start times.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot while providing exceptional service.
• Deliver all items securely, including election materials and items like food or alcohol, per Royal Mail standards.
