Job description

Avonpark Retirement Village based between the world heritage city of Bath and Bradford-on-Avon is on the lookout for a Community Co-ordinator. This is a newly formed role as we have recently had planning approved to build a further 74 apartments and to update our amenities.

This is a crucial role as the Community Co-ordinator will take ownership for being the main point of contact and you will be responsible for resident and local community engagement, offering one point of call for the residents and communications to our residents. You will be the driving force around maintaining exceptional levels of customer service for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing open and transparent communications between the residents and the village management team through technology, newsletters, bulletins.
• Work collaboratively with the village Residents’ Association and its elected Committee and Officers.
• Facilitate the village community engagement plan.
• Assist with the move-in process of new residents.
• Work with residents and village staff to ensure a wide varied programme of activities.
• Build working relationships with external providers, suppliers, and organisations within the local community.
