Job summary

TEAM is seeking a proactive Centre Manager in Ludlow to shape the future of a well-established community venue. You will combine commercial thinking with hands-on leadership, guiding strategic plans, budgets and service delivery to benefit visitors and local partners.

You will manage a small team, oversee bookings and operations, and drive new income opportunities while ensuring health, safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires 37.5 hours weekly with occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in SME, charity, social enterprise, or community venues.
• Strong budgeting, accounting controls and payroll awareness (SAGE advantageous).
• Proven ability to develop services, manage day-to-day operations and build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Board to create business plans and growth strategies.
• Manage budgets, invoicing, payments and financial controls to keep the organisation sustainable.
• Develop new income streams and maximise facility usage with customers, tenants, and partners.
• Lead and support a small team, oversee bookings, customer service and daily operations.
• Oversee building maintenance, suppliers, health and safety, safeguarding and compliance.
• Prepare reports and provide Board with insights and recommendations.
