Job summary

TEAM is seeking a Centre Manager in Ludlow to shape the future of a busy community venue. You will oversee bookings, customer service and operations, while driving income growth and ensuring financial sustainability.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong budgeting skills and governance with the Board of Trustees. Flexible hours may apply, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in SME/charity/community venue settings.
• Budgeting and financial controls with payroll systems.
• Develop services and build client relationships.
• Health and safety compliance and safeguarding.
• Lead and supervise a small team and operations.
• Occasional evenings or weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Board of Trustees to develop business plans, deliver strategic objectives and identify opportunities for growth.
• Manage budgets, financial controls, invoicing and payments, ensuring the organisation remains financially sustainable.
• Develop new income streams, maximise facility usage and build relationships with customers, tenants and local partners.
• Lead and support a small team, overseeing daily operations, bookings, customer service and the smooth running of the venue.
• Oversee building maintenance, supplier relationships, health and safety, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance, manage organisational records and provide the Board with reports and recommendations to support future decisions.
