Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is seeking a Care Assistant for community reablement across South Essex, including Canvey, Rayleigh and Rochford. You will help customers relearn daily living skills and gain independence with full training provided.

A full driving licence and access to a car are essential, with travel between clients a core part of the role. Shifts run 7.00am-3.00pm and 3.00pm-11.00pm on a 30-hour contract, with guaranteed contracted hours and a range of benefits including 55p per mile, paid

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
• Travel required– You will be required to travel around South Essex, predominantly Canvey, Rayleigh, Rochford and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Helping customers regain independence and continue living in their own home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and meals as part of reablement.
• Participate in induction, training and shadowing with ongoing support.
