Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is hiring Care Assistants for community reablement across South Essex, predominantly Rochford, Rayleigh and Canvey. You will help customers relearn daily tasks in their own homes and gain independence, with full induction and ongoing training.

Contract is 30 hours per week with guaranteed hours and weekend work. A valid driving licence and access to a car are essential as travel between customers is required; mileage is paid at 55p per mile.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving licence and access to a car for travel.

Responsibilities

• Help customers regain independence by assisting with daily living tasks at home.
• Support personal care, mobility and meal preparation as part of reablement.
• Work with a mentor after induction and complete required training.
• Travel across South Essex to visit customers, with mileage paid at 55p per mile.
