Job summary

Valley Care by Care Sante in Mansfield is hiring Health Care Assistants to join our local care teams. You will support vulnerable adults at home, assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and social companionship to help them live independently.

No previous experience is required; full training, induction, and ongoing updates are provided. A driving licence is preferred and access to a vehicle is helpful for visiting Shirebrook, Mansfield and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: washing, bathing, toilet arrangements.
• Support mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Help with meals, snacks and hydration; light domestic duties.
• Assist with medications as directed.
• Provide end-of-life care support when needed.

Valley Care by Care Sante are looking for 3 local Community Care Workers working to join our care teams in the areas of:

• Shirebrook
• Mansfield
• Kirskby-In-Ashfield

We are looking for two Health Care Assistants to join our family like team. We have a mixture of both part time and full time roles. You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Our usual working shifts are:

• Mornings 7am - 3pm
• Evenings 4pm-10pm

Job Description:

• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred for this role
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
