Job summary

Care Santé Limited in Herne Bay is seeking a Home Care Worker to deliver compassionate support in clients’ homes. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, personal care, meals and medication, in a role with full-time or part-time permanent hours. Training is provided, and progression opportunities exist.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. A company mobile phone, paid holidays, pension, and enhanced DBS checks are included.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with mobility and daily activities.
• Perform domestic tasks: beds, tidying, laundry and light cleaning.
• Provide personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting.
• Assist with meals and hydration; support feeding if needed.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Support end-of-life care as needed.

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of;

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 3pm-10pm
• Alternative weekends

As a Home Care Worker you’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives, within their own homes.

Job Description

• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use of, and care of aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements.
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with feeding if required
• Support with preparing and administering medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements

• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
