Job summary

Care Santé Limited in Herne Bay is inviting applications for caring Home Care Workers to join our teams supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes across Herne Bay and Whitstable.

We offer permanent roles (full-time or part-time) with mornings and evenings shifts and alternate weekends. A driving licence and right to work in the UK are required, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Have a right to work within the UK
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care

Responsibilities

• Helping service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including care of aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Assisting with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with feeding if required
• Support with preparing and administering medication
• Contribute to end-of-life care

• Whitstable
• Herne Bay

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of;

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 3pm-10pm (there must be mainly evening shift availability)
• Alternative weekends
