Herts at Home Limited is seeking a compassionate Community Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Hitchin and surrounding areas. The role requires driving and flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and some weekends.
Training and progression opportunities are offered within a supportive team environment. You will supervise and mentor clients, promoting independence and wellbeing while maintaining detailed client records and adhering to care plans.
Role: Community Care Assistant
Location: Hitchin
Hours: 38 - 40 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: £15.38 Per Hour & 40p Per Mile
Working Hours: Mornings 7am - 2pm Evenings 4pm - 10pm. Every other weekend working will be required.

A valid drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role

About Herts at Home

Duties:
Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met
Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients needs.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress -Medication Administration
