Job summary

Care By Us is seeking Care Professionals to provide compassionate in-home support across East Hertfordshire, including Hertford and Ware. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for rural areas, with guaranteed hours and a 7-day shift pattern offering regular work.

Shifts run from early mornings to late evenings, with pay £14.60–£16.00 per hour plus 30p mileage. No previous experience required as full training is provided, and there are strong career progression

Shifts: 7 days a week

• Day: 06:00/07:00 – 14:00
• Evening: 14:00 – 22:00/23:00

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll help with:

• Supporting with personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
• Assisting with medication – preparation and administration
• Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely
• Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support
• Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning
• Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships
