Job summary

Your Care Jobs Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate care workers to provide person-centred in-home care to clients in their own homes in Haywards Heath. You will support with personal care, medications, meals and mobility, including dementia and end-of-life care, working mornings and evenings as shifts run 7am–2pm and 4pm–10pm.

This role requires a compassionate, patient, and reliable approach, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
• Support clients with medication administration as per care plans.

• Carry out light household tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Follow individual care plans and report changes or concerns.
• Deliver specialist care for clients with dementia or those in hospice care.

We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, committed and reliable care workers to provide high quality, person centred care to individuals in their own homes. You will play a vital role in supporting clients to live safely, comfortably and independently.

This role involves delivering personal care, medication support, meal preparation and companionship, including specialist care for individuals living with dementia or receiving end of life care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming
• Support clients with medication administration as per care plans
• Prepare meals and support dietary requirements
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Carry out light household tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Follow individual care plans and report any changes or concerns
• Deliver specialist care for clients with dementia or those in hospice care
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and the wider care team

Working Hours

• Mornings: 7am - 2pm
• Evenings: 4pm - 10pm

Essential Requirements

• Males - Full time only, must drive
• Females - Full time & part time for drivers / Full time for non drivers
• Full training and ongoing support provided
• Sponsorship is not available
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to meet changing client needs and schedules

Desirable

• Previous experience in domiciliary or residential care
• Knowledge of basic caregiving principles
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or complex needs
