Job summary

Autism East Midlands is seeking a Community Autism Support Worker to help Derbyshire-area service users with personal care, community integration and anxiety management. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.

A full driving license and the ability to insure for business driving are mandatory. You will contribute to individual support plans, maintain documentation with GDPR in mind, and collaborate with families and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Driving license required for the role.
• Willing to have business cover on insurance for work-related driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic support including personal care and integration into the community.
• Maintain high standards of care and IPC practices.
• Keep records up to date and ensure confidentiality (GDPR).
• Liaise with families, clinical teams and external agencies professionally.
• Complete Care Certificate and mandatory training.
