Job summary

Citizens Advice in Gateshead seeks an Advice Services Manager (Community) to build partnerships, strengthen local services and improve access to welfare guidance. You will drive the Service Modernisation programme, engage stakeholders and lead teams to deliver inclusive, effective support.

You will work across Gateshead to develop new partnerships, monitor performance, and champion safeguarding and health and safety standards while modelling a one-service culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading grant-funded services in a charity, non-profit or comparable setting.
• Ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationships and translate strategy into action.
• Experience working in an advice, guidance or similar support environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent the charity across Gateshead, build partnerships that strengthen community provision and champion programmes such as Advice First Aid.
• Lead teams to deliver projects, foster innovation and create a one-service culture with shared learning.
• Monitor workstreams, demonstrate results, support budget management and contribute to safeguarding and health & safety standards.
