Newark and Sherwood District Council is recruiting a Communications Officer to join our Communications & Marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The role supports delivery of our Communications and Marketing Strategy by crafting targeted campaigns, promoting statutory services, and helping residents understand and trust the work we do. We value collaboration, initiative, and community focus.

Maternity cover for up to 12 months
Full time 37 hours per week
Salary NS8 £32,046 - £33,673 per annum

We are now recruiting for a Communications Officer to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting the delivery of clear, engaging, and impactful communications that connect our residents with the services they rely on.

In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with the Communications Manager to bring the District Council’s Communications and Marketing Strategy to life by crafting targeted campaigns, amplifying our core statutory services, and helping shape public understanding and trust.
