Job summary

NRL Group is seeking a Communications Manager to support a major business transformation with hybrid working from the Manchester area. The role combines remote work with a weekly attendance at one of the offices (Rochdale, Stockport, or Warrington) and occasional travel to other sites and events.

• Proven experience in communications, internal communications, employee engagement or marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Experience developing engaging content for varied audiences.
• Skilled in stakeholder management and relationship building.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal communications and engagement initiatives that support organisational transformation.
• Develop clear, engaging content for multiple channels, including intranet, Teams, and presentations.
• Produce internal materials such as FAQs, user guides, and briefing packs.
• Coordinate key engagement activities including Town Halls, workshops and Q&A sessions.
• Manage internal communication platforms, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging.
• Create communication schedules and maintain the overall communications calendar.
• Tailor messaging for office-based and operational colleagues.
• Support programme reporting and provide updates to diverse stakeholder groups.
