Job summary

A.G. Barr is seeking a Communications Lead to shape internal and external communications across multiple UK hubs. The role will own internal event calendars and content streams to drive employee engagement, while supporting external media, sponsorships, and crisis communications.

You will lead delivery for corporate charity partnerships and internal channels, transitioning from traditional broadcast updates to strategic community-building. Frequent travel within the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-production corporate events.
• Experience designing internal marketing or culture campaigns to boost engagement.
• Proficiency in managing active user engagement on internal platforms (e.g., Fizz).

Responsibilities

• Channel Management: manage day-to-day content on internal platforms.
• Campaign Delivery: design and execute campaigns for launches, wellbeing, rewards and surveys.
• Agile Messaging: draft timely BAU updates and enterprise communications.
• Event Leadership: own planning and execution of high-production events.
• Culture & Morale: develop culture initiatives and social events.
• Data-Driven Optimization: analyze channel metrics to refine messaging.
• Partnerships & Impact: manage charity relationships and volunteer initiatives.
• Reporting & Risk: provide monthly updates and risk reporting to leaders.
• PR & Crisis Support: assist media inquiries and crisis messaging.
• Administration: oversee financial workflows including POs and occasional event support.

AsourCommunicationsLead,youwillshapeandbuildourinternalandexternalcommunicationsacrossabroadrangeofinitiatives.

Aspecialistrolededicatedtobuilding,engaging,andconnectingthe\"OneAGBarr\"communityculture,youwillpredominantly(approximately80%)focusonourinternalaudience-owningthestrategicexecutionoftheinternaleventscalendarandorchestratingrichinternalcontentstreamstodriveemployeeengagement-theremainingportionoftheroleisexternallyfacing.Inthiscapacity,youwillplayakeysupportiveroleinassistingtheHeadofCommunicationswithexternalmedia,sponsorshipandproductplacementenquiriesandcrisiscommunications.

Actingasthedeliveryleadforcorporatecharitypartnershipsandinternalcommunicationschannels(includingFizzanddigitalscreennetworks),thisroletransitionsthecompanyfrombasic\"broadcast\"updatestohighlydynamic,strategiccommunity-building.Thispositionreliesheavilyoninternalchanneldatatocontinuallyadjuststrategies,maximisereach,andprovideoperationalandreputationsupporttothewiderCommunicationsfunction.
