We have embarked on our digital excellence journey, including the implementation of a nationally leading EPR system that will transform the quality of care for our patients and staff by providing instantly accessible information through the latest mobile technology, reducing paper usage, and utilizing clinical decision support tools.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, helpful, and proactive team player to join our friendly, experienced, and dynamic digital and communication teams across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire. Your role will be to bring our digital strategy to life.
You should be creative, resilient, and team-oriented, with a strong interest in engagement and two-way communication techniques, internal and digital communications, and creating compelling copy and visuals that generate interest, desire, and action.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional or graduate with a good understanding of communications, media, and content gathering.
Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering content to inform and engage both internal and external stakeholders within our wide-ranging and fast-moving digital strategy. Working closely with our Digital and Communications & Engagement teams, you will support campaigns, events, proactive media, and internal communications, tailoring your output for various audiences and channels. No two days will be the same!
Strong communication skills and experience are essential, as your work will span multiple platforms, from social media to the intranet. Our communications officers are versatile, producing high-quality written content, videos, and designs.
This will involve creating content for the Trust's website, intranet, news outlets, social media channels, services, and events, helping us reach key audiences and translating ideas into accessible and engaging short videos, animations, and graphics.
You will utilize a variety of tools including Microsoft Word, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
An understanding of the NHS, current issues, organizational goals, and enough commercial awareness to work effectively with private sector suppliers and contractors to secure value for money is required.
The successful candidate will possess these skills and an enthusiasm for all things digital.
