The Peninsula London is excited to announce we are seeking a Commis Chef to work within the pastry and bakery department, supporting the team in this busy and highly technical position. Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the creation of desserts, baked goods, and chocolates, learning and executing tasks as required.
  • Participate in hotel activities and training with an eagerness to learn.
  • Follow technical worksheets and recipes as assigned.
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment, and that health, hygiene, and safety procedures are met.

General Requirements

  • Experience within a 5* hotel, pastry section, bakery, restaurant, or similar environment.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, and positive.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
