Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge is seeking a Commis Chef to join our Production Kitchens, assisting our chefs in creating exceptional dishes for our restaurants and Food Halls. You will be part of a team delivering quality products with attention to detail in a luxury setting.

Reporting to the Chef de Partie, you will prepare ingredients, maintain stock levels, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld across all outlets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and passion for food and drink essential.
• Some time spent within 5* hotel or high end restaurant environment.
• Great time-management skills and strong customer focus.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and good attention to detail evident through paperwork and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organise ingredients for the kitchen.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic.
• Organise, rotate stock and label food for own section with deadlines.
• Enforce high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout kitchens.
