Job summary

The Manor House, part of the Exclusive Collection, is a luxury country house hotel nestled in the Cotswolds, home to a Michelin-starred restaurant and a championship golf course. It is a place where heritage, creativity and precision come together to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

As a Commis Chef, you will be an important part of our talented kitchen brigade, supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes across the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary training.
• Passion for food and a desire to develop culinary skills.
• Attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn from experienced chefs and take on new challenges.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes across the kitchen.
• Support the Chef de Partie and wider brigade in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain mise en place.
• Ensure consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes.
• Maintain food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock rotation and minimise waste.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and professional kitchen environment.
