Hand Picked Hotels is seeking a passionate Commis Chef for Buckland Manor Hotel, set in the tranquil Worcestershire countryside. You will assist the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking and plate presentation, learning from senior chefs to uphold exceptional standards in a luxury country house setting.

This full-time role is 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota, with an hourly rate of £12.71 plus service charge.

Competenze

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, or a relevant catering qualification, along with a strong desire to learn and develop culinary skills.
• Positive attitude, good organisational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food and hospitality.

Mansioni

• Support the kitchen team in delivering an exceptional culinary experience for guests, working with senior chefs to maintain high standards in a busy kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking and presentation, maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety, and ensure mise en place is completed efficiently for service.
• Support senior chefs across kitchen sections, help with stock rotation and storage, and contribute to a smooth and well-organised operation.
