Job summary

The Dixon, Tower Bridge – Autograph Collection by Marriott is looking for a Commis Chef to undertake high-standard food preparation and cooking under supervision. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced chefs and develop culinary skills.

You will be responsible for cooking food accurately and promptly, maintaining presentation standards, and ensuring cleanliness and food safety regulations are adhered to. A passion for food and willingness to learn are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role/environment, eager to learn and develop.
• Understanding of health, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Proactive and organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Cook foods as required, ensuring orders are completed accurately.
• Maintain presentation standards of food items.
• Prepare mise-en-place for shifts, advise on stock shortages.
• Conduct temperature level readings for all fridges twice daily.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
