Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking a talented Commis Chef at our Bedford location, on a full-time permanent basis. The role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary of 14.6 GBP per hour, working Monday to Friday across a 52-week contract.

You will work with fresh seasonal ingredients, support a small kitchen team, and have the chance to develop through our academy and training programmes, with benefits including meals on duty and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good English (verbal).
• Reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience in customer and/or food preparation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to schedule and standards.
• Work with fresh seasonal ingredients and changing menus.
• Support team with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
