Job summary

Da Costa is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will work with our chefs, learn on the job, and help prepare high-quality dishes for our restaurant, events, and external catering.

The role runs Wednesday to Sunday with full-time contracts at 45 hours per week. The base pay is £12.73 per hour plus a service charge, with excellent benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Working alongside a team of chefs to learn on the job.
• Prepare high-quality dishes for our restaurant, external catering and events.
• Support Head Chef in creating and maintaining dishes using farm produce.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform duties assigned in a busy kitchen environment.
• Assist in cooking, plating and presenting dishes to standard.
• Work with open-fire cooking and seasonal ingredients from our walled garden.
