Marston's is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team and help prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll learn new prepping skills, bring a meal to life for the first time, and own a section of the kitchen while developing your career.

You'll be supported through our internal DNA pathway with the goal of progressing toward Sous Chef. We offer a friendly, lively atmosphere, practical benefits, staff discounts, and opportunities to grow within the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification.
• Assist in day-to-day kitchen operations and cleanliness.
• Work as part of a busy team to deliver hot dishes on time.
• Learn and apply kitchen procedures and health & safety standards.
