Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life while learning new skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, gain hands-on experience, and have the chance to progress along our internal career pathway toward Sous Chef. Benefits include discounts, flexible hours, and support to develop your culinary career.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to specification and ensure quality on every plate.
• Support the kitchen team with daily prep and line duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shift.
