Job summary

Locke Cambridge is seeking a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team and contribute to high-quality dishes in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will support the Chef de Partie, help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and participate in stock control while learning new culinary skills and growing your career in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes, ensuring every plate meets our standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen team to deliver smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen, ensuring equipment and storage areas are ready for service.
• Help manage stock, minimise food waste and contribute to efficient kitchen operations.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, allergen and kitchen compliance procedures to the highest standards.
• Adapt to the needs of the business, supporting events and collaborating across the hotel when required.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture while upholding our brand standards.
