Job summary

Alfa HolidayGroup is hiring a Commis Chef to join The Queens Hotel in Blackpool (FY4 1AY). The role offers ~35 hours per week with a fixed hourly rate of £14.67, including weekends and split shifts. You will assist with all kitchen tasks, stock control, and hygiene to help the team deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Passionate about cookery with demonstrable experience of working within a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of all aspects related to food safety regulations.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Ability to work under the pressure of a busy kitchen whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of the kitchen operation from preparation, cooking and serving of food.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
• Involved in stock rotation, labelling and cleaning of equipment to ensure maximum organisation and compliance.
• Work closely with Head and Second Chefs to support kitchen operations.
