Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a Commis Chef to support Levels Café & Lounge at Holyrood. You will assist in preparing a range of grab-and-go items, hot meals, soups and salads to pre-set recipes, and deliver catering to pre-set orders.

Reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor and Line Manager, you will work as part of a team to uphold brand standards and exceed customer expectations in a busy catering environment. This is a permanent, full-time role at UE02 grade.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a catering environment.
• Demonstrates passion for food and customer service.
• Willingness to work in a full-time catering role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare grab-and-go items, hot meals, soups and salads to sasfied recipes.
• Assist in the preparation and service of food for the cafeteria.
• Deliver catering to pre-set orders and maintain brand standards and customer satisfaction.
