Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is hiring a Commis Chef to support the smooth running of Levels Café & Lounge at Holyrood. You will assist in preparing a range of grab-and-go items, hot meals, soups and salads to pre-set recipes, working as part of a team to maintain our brand standards and exceed customer expectations.

Reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor and Line Manager, you will be part of a busy catering operation in a world-class university, contributing to high-quality service and a vibrant

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment is preferred.
• Healthy food handling and safety awareness desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of food for Levels Café & Lounge.
• Prepare grab-and-go items, hot meals, soups and salads to pre-set recipes.
• Support delivering catering to the Holyrood Campus as required.
