Job summary

People Providers is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to support the dinner service and overall dining experience. You will be involved in preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes, while assisting senior chefs with menu development and safety practices.

The role requires classic kitchen skills, the ability to run your own station, stock rotation and labelling accuracy. A reliable, organised individual who thrives under pressure will fit well in our dynamic kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Basic technique and menu knowledge.
• Ability to run kitchen briefing.
• Expertise in sauce & stock making.
• Reliable with good attendance and time-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.
• Assisting senior chefs with menu items, recipes and development.
• Assisting with health & safety and food hygiene practices.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Be punctual and work well under pressure.
• Follow recipes and respect the service chef.
