Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team and help prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll learn new prepping skills, bring a meal to life for the first time, and own a section of the kitchen as you grow your career.

There’s plenty to get involved with while developing skills you can take home. We offer an award‑winning local pub environment and strong opportunities for progression along our internal pathway, DNA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a KP is desirable.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Good teamwork in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to support day‑to‑day kitchen operations and maintain standards.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in prep and cooking to bring our pub menu to life.
• Learn and follow kitchen procedures and contribute to a clean, organized station.
• Support the kitchen team with daily running and quality control.
