Job summary

Marston's is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen. You will prep, create and bring the menu to life, learning new skills and owning a section of the kitchen as you grow.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team and help with day-to-day kitchen operations while delivering hot, high- quality dishes to spec. The role includes a clear pathway to Sous Chef and flexible hours where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food prep and execution to spec.
• Support kitchen team with daily running of the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of station.
• Assist with learning new prep skills and menu items.
• Contribute to a positive, fast-paced kitchen environment.
