Job summary

Marston’s Plc is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen team. You’ll prep, create and bring our menu to life while learning in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Aimed at growing your career, you’ll take on responsibilities as you progress toward Sous Chef through our internal pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or KP experience required.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life with attention to detail.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running and food delivery to spec.
• Work in a team in a fast-paced environment and maintain hygiene standards.

As Commis Chef: There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time
