Job summary

Young's Ram Agency is seeking a Commis Chef to join its flexible, shift-based Commis Chef program. You will be part of an on-site kitchen team across the Young's pub estate, with the ability to view and build your rota online and work when you want to.

You’ll receive a share of tips and service charges for every shift, access to Apprenticeship Schemes and Chef Academy, and benefits including 20% discount in Young's pubs, paid holiday, pension, free meals during shifts, and a share save scheme.

The Ram Agency is Young's very own internal agency, giving you the power to pick your working hours! You'll be looked after by our wonderful General Manager, Monse, and simply hop online to view shifts and build your rota to suit your lifestyle. We have shifts available daily, across our estate of over 270 pubs. You will be employed by Youngs; have all the benefits of being employed with us and all the flexibility that allows you to work when you want to!

What we look for in a Commis Chef:

We are looking for an existing Commis Chef, an excellent Kitchen Porter or an individual looking for the next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Commis Chef, you will:
