Job summary

The Edwardian Manchester is hiring a Commis Chef to join our Food Production team. You will help ensure top-quality dishes, support senior chefs, and contribute to kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.

Passion for cooking, a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and confident communication within the team are essential for success in this role. This is an on-site position within our prestigious Edwardian Hotels network.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and eagerness to learn new cooking techniques.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Confidence communicating with other chefs and building rapport within the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food and contribute to overall kitchen quality control.
• Support senior kitchen staff as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas across kitchen sections.
• Assist in daily food production to ensure timely service.

We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join our Food Production team at The Edwardian Manchester.

Overview:

• An amazing opportunity to join one of our outstanding hotels as a Commis Chef.
• As a Commis Chef, you will ensure that the highest quality of food is prepared and served, assist in overall quality control across the kitchen and sections as required.
• Be Motivated and keen to learn new culinary skills.
• Support senior members of the kitchen brigade at all times.

About You:

• Be passionate about food and keen to learn and develop new cooking techniques.
• Hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
• Confidence to communicate with other chefs and build rapport amongst the team.
