Job summary

The Edwardian Manchester Hotel, a Radisson Collection Hotel, is seeking a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join the Food and Beverage team. You will be a key link between the kitchen and front of house, ensuring timely delivery of dishes and high levels of guest service.

You will be knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer questions and make recommendations. Prior front-of-house experience is preferred, with training provided if needed. Proficiency with order systems like Micros is expected.

We are currently recruiting for aCommis Waiter/ Waitress for our 5 Star The Edwardian Manchester Hotel, A Radisson Collection Hotel and its destination restaurant Peter Street Kitchen.

Overview:

• An amazing opportunity to join the Food and Beverage team at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel.
• As a Commis Waiter/Waitress you will be working a fast-paced operation where service and standards are at the forefront of the Kitchen restaurants and our brand standards.
• You will be a key link between the kitchen and front of house teams ensuring that all food is brought from the kitchen to the restaurant timely and that the dining guests receive a high level of customer service.
• You will be knowledgeable about the restaurant menu so that you are able to answer questions and make recommendations should it be asked of you.
• As a Commis Waiter/Waitress you will be competent with applications such as Open table, Adecco and Micros and are able to achieve a 100% pass mark in Micros competency tests.

About You:

• Previous front of house waiting experience of working in a high-end food led operation is preferred, however training can be provided.
• Demonstrates excellent, attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Impeccable command of the English language both written and spoken.
• Passion for food and beverage and keeping up to date with latest food trends.
